Orthopedie: heupkopresectie en stabilisatie heupdislocatie

During the wetlab delegates will get the opportunity to develop skills in the following techniques:

1. A craniolateral approach to the hip  with the aim of identifying and respecting the normal anatomy during the surgical approach.
2. Following dislocation of the hip we will stabilise hip dislocation with a transilial pin.
3. Finally delegates will get the opportunity to perform a femoral head and neck excision. The importance of positioning of the osteotomy will be demonstrated.
